For the past 22 years I have been designing and installing gardens. Coming from an art and design background led me to start a landscaping and gardening company in 1998, called Down to Earth. I comprehend nature through art and vice versa, so I view garden design projects from a macro view instead of looking at them piece-by-piece.
Whether it's annuals, perennials or shrubs, trees, patios, or fencing, I can offer my expertise in designing and installing based on the client’s needs and style.
After renovating three projects of my own in Manchester, Vermont, I have learned a lot about the contracting, design, and construction ecosystem in this little corner of the world. I found that I had to work hard to find reliable sub-contractors and use my experience and personality to build dependable relationships.
At times I had to work actively to make sure things were getting done correctly and on time in all of my projects. After putting in my time and building my reliable local community, I knew this process was something I could help others with.
With a focus on second-home owners, newcomers, and those who don’t have those local connections, I work to provide guidance and support to clients who need it most.
Our cozy and charming properties are located right in the heart of beautiful Manchester Vermont. You'll be at walking distance to fine dining, shopping, antiquing and cinema. Skiing is also a short drive to both Bromley and Stratton.
Our properties are great for family gatherings, a lush vacation with friends, or just to enjoy a quiet weekend by yourself.
